Aunique opportunityhas arisen to join our dynamic and highly regarded team within the 48-bedded Older Persons Assessment Unitat theRoyal Bournemouth Hospital, where we deliver expert, patient-centred care to the older population in their acute phase of illness.


We are seeking anexperienced HCSWwho brings compassion, initiative, and strong clinical skills to the role.You’llbe part of a supportive multidisciplinary team, playing a vital role in delivering outstanding care and making a real difference to patient outcomes.


WhatWe’reLooking For:Completion of theNational Care Certificate,Confident and competent in,ECG recording,VenepunctureandCannulation,Experience with Stroke Patients ,A team player with excellent communication and time management skills


You’llneed to be flexible and able to work arotational shift pattern, includingnights, weekends, and bank holidays.

This post is being advertised as a Band 3, however applicants that do not meet the required care certificate competencies will initially be employed as a Band 2. Applicants who hold a care certificate accreditation will start in post at Band 3.




We are open 24 hours a day 7 days a week - therefore, we require you to befully flexible across all shift patterns, including weekdays, weekends, nights and bank holidays.

As part of the selection process you will be required to complete a numeracy and literacy assessment alongside an interview.
