Summary

Gas Safe Register are currently recruiting for a safety focused, gas qualified individual to join our field services team in Aberdeen, Inverness and surrounding areas.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

As an Inspector, your primary responsibility will be to inspect, report, and provide feedback on the gas safety standards maintained by registered businesses in Aberdeen, Inverness and surrounding areas.

The role requires a methodical and professional approach to gas safety inspections and communication with stakeholders. The following duties outline the main responsibilities:

- Conduct thorough inspections in strict accordance with Gas Industry Statutory and Normative documents, as well as adhering to internal operating procedures.

- Work collaboratively with registered businesses, ensuring that any defects identified during inspections are clearly communicated and fully understood.

- Complete all inspection reports promptly and ensure they meet the quality and time requirements as set out in the Service Level Agreement.

- When instances of unsafe or illegal gas work are discovered, take decisive and appropriate action in line with established procedures.

- Demonstrate strong communication skills through effective interaction with registered businesses and gas consumers.

- Meet inspection targets as determined by client Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and internal objectives
