Summary

Joinery Production Manager

Thorn Baker Construction are seeking an experienced Joinery Production Manager to oversee and drive performance within a busy manufacturing workshop. You will be responsible for managing production processes, ensuring efficiency, quality, and on-time delivery across all joinery output.

This is a key leadership role, working closely with design, project, and site teams to ensure seamless delivery from workshop to installation

Location: On site - Huddersfield

The Role;

We are seeking an experienced Joinery Production Manager to oversee and drive performance within a busy manufacturing workshop. You will be responsible for managing production processes, ensuring efficiency, quality, and on-time delivery across all joinery output.

This is a key leadership role, working closely with design, project, and site teams to ensure seamless delivery from workshop to installation

Key Responsibilities;

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the joinery workshop
• Manage production schedules to meet project deadlines
• Lead, motivate, and develop workshop staff and supervisors
• Ensure all products meet strict quality and finish standards
• Coordinate with design and project teams to resolve technical queries
• Monitor materials, plant, and resource allocation to maximise efficiency
• Implement and maintain health & safety procedures
• Drive continuous improvement across production processes
• Control costs, reduce waste, and improve productivity

Requirements;

• Proven experience as a Joinery Production Manager / Workshop Manager / Manufacturing Manager
• Strong background in bespoke joinery or interior fit-out
• Excellent understanding of production processes, machinery, and materials
• Ability to manage teams in a fast-paced workshop environment
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of health & safety regulations within manufacturing
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
