Summary
The successful candidate will join a multidisciplinary team of Surgeons, Oncologists, Histopathologists, Radiologists, specialised nurses, as part of the gynaecologic oncology team at MTW. The appointee would work closely with the existing team to provide and further develop Radical Ovarian Cancer Surgery. The appointee will work closely with consultant colleagues, advanced nurse practitioners and cancer nurse specialists to deliver high-quality outpatient services. There is a separate monthly colposcopy MDT and weekly gynaecological oncology MDT. The role will include a weekly gynaecological oncology clinic and colposcopy clinic. You will be part of the Surgical Specialities and Endoscopy Directorate, which comprises Breast, Urology, Gynaecology, Vascular services, Upper GI, Lower GI and Endoscopy. This appointment provides clinical services principally at Maidstone Hospital and the Tunbridge Wells Hospital at Pembury.
