Summary
We are looking to recruit a Facilities Support Assistant to support the effective day‑to‑day running of Community Clinics and outside units across Bournemouth and Poole. The post holder will provide essential support to the Community Clinic Management Team, contributing to safe, clean, and welcoming environments for patients, staff, and visitors.
The role involves supporting cleaning and facilities standards, carrying out audits and risk assessments, managing stock and supplies, assisting with staff rotas, and liaising with Estates and Facilities colleagues regarding maintenance issues. The post holder will also provide reception and administrative cover when required and support health, safety, and security processes within clinics.
This is a varied, hands‑on role requiring flexibility, good organisational skills, and the ability to work independently across multiple sites while maintaining excellent standards of customer care and professionalism in line with Trust values.

• Support the day‑to‑day operation of community clinics and outside units.
• Maintain cleaning and hygiene standards by carrying out audits, monitoring quality, and supporting domestic staff.
• Manage cleaning and facilities stock, including ordering, deliveries, and stock control.
• Assist with staff rotas, induction, training, and arranging sickness or holiday cover.Provide reception and administrative cover, delivering a courteous and professional service to patients, visitors, and staff.
• Liaise with Facilities, Estates, and other departments regarding maintenance, repairs, and building issues.
• Support health, safety, and security arrangements, including fire safety checks and clinic opening/closing.
• Travel between multiple sites and prioritise workload to meet service needs.
