For the full Person Specification and more informationregardingthe main responsibilities of this role, please refer to the attached Job Description. ....CONTINUED FROM ABOVE: The post holder will be further responsible to drive action planning in relation to patient safety initiatives, all aspects of clinical governance and care quality improvements within the department, taking an active role within clinical governance and divisional Quality and safety meetings, deputising for the Matron where required. The post holder will contribute, in partnership with the Neonatal Matron, Neonatal Clinical Consultant Lead, Divisional Clinical Director and Divisional Management team, in developing the Divisions strategic direction and policy framework, ensuring that the Division contributes significantly to the achievement of corporate objectives. The post holder will be responsible to ensure that effective governance arrangements are implemented, appropriately maintained and shared learning is disseminated within the nursing and midwifery team and clinical governance groups, with key agreements for on-going action planning in relation to improvements, change of practice required.
