Are you a clinician with experience in Paediatric Musculoskeletal (MSK) care? Join our growing, forward‑thinking Paediatric MSK Physiotherapy Team and help shape an exceptional service for children and young people.
Our MSK service supports children referred by consultants, delivered across outpatient settings including Clinic 10 and the Children’s Centre. Led by a Paediatric MSK Team Leader and supported by a rotational physiotherapist, the service also offers weekly Children’s Gym Exercise classes and hydrotherapy sessions. We work closely with the Paediatric Orthopaedic team and have direct access to an Extended Scope Practitioner in orthopaedics.
What you’ll experience:
• Varied Caseload:Manage a broad spectrum of MSK presentations, from congenital conditions to post‑operative care, traumatic injuries, and growth‑related issues
• Neurodiverse Care:Support children with additional needs, including those with ASD or ADHD
• Holistic Practice:Create engaging, child‑centred treatment plans and adapt communication styles to work effectively with children and their families
• Professional Growth:Access regular supervision, MSK and paediatric‑specific in‑service training, and opportunities for further development.
If you’re passionate about paediatric MSK care and eager to grow within a supportive, collaborative team, we’d be delighted to hear from you.

We are an award-winning NHS Foundation Trust working alongside health and social care colleagues across the county to provide acute and community healthcare services to more than 420,000 people across Mansfield, Ashfield, Newark and Sherwood, and parts of Derbyshire and Lincolnshire.
We put the patient at the heart of everything that we do and it is our aim to make sure that every patient is treated as we would want a member of our own family to be treated. At the same time, we expect our staff to be caring, kind and courteous to each other and to look out for each other. We believe that we are truly a clinically-led organisation.
We are proud that our Trust colleagues have voted us the best acute Trust to work for in the East Midlands for seven years running in the National NHS Staff Survey, while the Care Quality Commission has rated our Trust as ‘outstanding’ for care and our King’s Mill Hospital as the only ‘outstanding’ NHS-run hospital in the East Midlands.
