Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen in one of the country’s leading selective schools.
We are seeking a Chief Invigilator to join our welcoming and supportive team committed to the exam success of our students. The successful candidate will have previous invigilation experience, including invigilation of individual rooms and access arrangements. Professionalism and attention to detail in this role are paramount.
As Chief Invigilator you will:
Be conversant with JCQ and exam board regulations.
Have experience of working within a busy team environment.
Be IT literate (Word, Excel and Outlook).
Have exceptional communication skills and be organised and calm under pressure.
Working hours: This is an annualised contract to reflect the flexible working required for this role. 767 hours to be worked across 39 school weeks, to ensure that all exam periods are covered, with additional ad hoc exams and planning work required outside of the fixed exam periods:
September/October - 11+ testing
December/January/February – mock exams
April/May/June – mock exams and public exams
