Summary
Main responsibilities and duties - Phlebotomy - Blood pressure checks - ECG test (but not the reading and assessing of the results) - Vaccinations (flu, B12, Covid) ** - NHS Health Checks - Urinalysis - Height and weight recording -Physical checks for patients with serious mental illness (SMI) and learning disabilities (LD) - Dressings - Supporting GPs and practice nurses with long term condition reviews - Health promotion and signposting to services - On site chaperoning - Processing laboratory samples - Vaccine / cold chain storage, monitoring and recording - Ordering of medical equipment - Surgical equipment restocking / stock rotation - Clearing and restocking consultation rooms - Assisting GPs during minor surgery This list is not exhaustive and you may be asked to perform other grade appropriate duties
