- Organise the kitchen space efficiently, ensuring all cooking utensils and equipment are clean and ready for use.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
- Monitor food stock levels and assist with inventory management as needed.
- Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
- Contribute to maintaining a positive team environment by communicating effectively with colleagues.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Cook or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant or catering environment.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food preparation.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy kitchen setting.
