This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic linguist who is passionate about high‑quality language teaching and committed to fostering a rich, culturally aware learning environment for all students. About The Role:
The successful candidate will play a central role in delivering an engaging and ambitious languages curriculum that equips students with strong communication skills, intercultural understanding, and confidence.
You will:
Deliver the Spanish curriculum across Key Stage 3 and 4 and French.
Plan and deliver high‑quality, well‑structured lessons that challenge, support, and inspire learners of all abilities.
Use creative approaches to bring languages alive — integrating real‑world contexts, authentic materials, and opportunities for cultural exploration.
Assess student progress effectively, using data to inform planning and interventions.
Contribute to the development of curriculum resources and departmental initiatives.
Support the wider life of the school through enrichment activities such as clubs, trips, events, and celebrations of linguistic and cultural diversity.

Is a confident linguist with excellent subject knowledge in both Spanish and French.
Is passionate about language learning and committed to nurturing curiosity, fluency, and resilience in young people.
Has high expectations for themselves and their students.
Is reflective and committed to their own professional growth.
Enjoys working collaboratively within a supportive team.
Brings positive energy, warmth, and a student‑centred approach to their teaching.
