Summary

On-Site Electrician

Monday to Friday – No Weekends

HMP Kirklevington Grange, Yarm TS15 9PA

£30,866 – £36,135 per year

39 hours | Early finish Fridays



Are you a Level 2 qualified Electrician with hands-on trade experience looking for a steady weekday role with proper work–life balance?



Join Amey’s on-site FM team at HMP Kirklevington Grange and secure a stable, Monday to Friday job with consistent hours, long-term security and real progression opportunities. Weekends are covered with a call out rota, paid as required.



What you’ll be doing

Planned and preventative electrical maintenance, including related admin tasks
Fault finding, repairs and minor works
Carry out like for like replacements and other electrical minor works to BS7671
Working safely in a structured, well-managed site


What you’ll need

Level 2 Electrical Installation
Trade experience as an electrician
Strong understanding of electrical safety
18th Edition (training available if you hold 17th)
Understanding of fire alarm and CCTV systems, which will help you make an immediate impact. (Desirable)
Basic IT skills


Prison security clearance and Standard DBS required – we’ll fully support you through it.
