We are now seeking an experienced Security Operations Manager to oversee and lead the security function across multiple sites, ensuring services are delivered safely, compliantly, and in line with contractual and operational requirements.
ROLE SPECIFICATION:
This role is responsible for the end-to-end management of security operations across multiple projects, ensuring high standards of delivery, compliance, and client satisfaction.
You will lead directly employed security teams, CIS and umbrella operatives, and manage specialist subcontractor packages. Working closely with Logistics, Commercial, and Client stakeholders, you will ensure security services are fully integrated into wider operational delivery.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Operational Oversight
- Manage security operations across multiple sites in line with RAMS, scope, and contract requirements
- Lead security supervisors and operational teams to maintain consistent standards
Manage labour models including direct, CIS, and umbrella staff
- Oversee subcontractor performance and package delivery
- Conduct regular site audits to ensure compliance and service quality
Client & Contract Management
- Act as key client contact for all security matters
- Maintain strong, proactive client relationships
- Ensure alignment with changing programme and operational needs
- Monitor contract compliance, variations, and service delivery standards
- Ensure all changes are properly documented and controlled
People Management
- Lead, develop, and support security teams and supervisors
- Manage performance, attendance, conduct, and capability
- Identify training, development, and competency needs
Financial & Commercial Control
- Manage security operations within agreed budgets and margins
- Approve labour deployment and subcontractor costs
- Identify efficiencies and cost-saving opportunities
- Support reporting, forecasting, and performance reviews
Health, Safety & Compliance
- Promote a strong health & safety culture across all operations
- Ensure compliance with SIA licensing, legislation, and company policies
- Identify and manage security risks and incidents
- Ensure issues and non-compliance are addressed promptly
Planning & Coordination
- Support mobilisation and demobilisation of security resources
- Work closely with Operations, Commercial, HR, and Procurement teams
- Contribute to continuous improvement across systems and processes

Experience
• Experience managing security operations across multiple sites or projects
• Experience leading teams, supervisors, and subcontractors
• Experience in client-facing operational and contract management
• Experience managing labour, budgets, and operational performance
• Background in construction, logistics, or infrastructure environments desirable
