It is a highly interactive role where regular face-to-face engagement, clear communication, and proactive support are essential. You will be a key point of contact for volunteers across the county, ensuring they feel informed, supported, and valued in their contribution to policing.
Some flexibility is required, as the role will involve occasional evening and weekend working to meet operational needs.
What You Will Be Doing

Engaging directly with volunteers through face-to-face visits and virtual communication to ensure they feel connected and valued, proactively supporting wellbeing and retention
Assisting with recruitment activity, including promoting opportunities and engaging with prospective volunteers
Managing volunteer data, ensuring accurate tracking of hours, participation, and engagement
Providing support across all volunteer strands, including with recruitment, training, induction, and exit processes
Supporting the delivery of the Volunteer Police Cadet Programme, including attending sessions and developing resources

Volunteers are an integral part of Lincolnshire Police and play an important role in helping the force deliver services across the county.
This role is essential in ensuring our volunteers feel valued, supported, and able to contribute effectively. By enabling a positive and well-managed volunteer experience, you will directly impact the quality of service delivery across the force, strengthen community relationships, and help create a volunteer workforce that reflects and serves the public.
