Role Overview

We are looking for a mix between Alan Sugar and Mother Theresa! We want someone who is compassionate and passionate. Compassion is
needed to help families through a difficult time and passion is needed to ensure that we achieve our occupancy targets and create
great lives for the people who live in The Oaks.

Responsibilities and Duties

* Meeting discharge teams at NHS and private hospitals
* Involvement in and liaison with discharge teams around referrals for our enablement suite
* Ensuring all businesses in the area know who we are and what we do
* Fostering fantastic relationships with social work and mental health teams
* Creating community events in order to break pre-conceptions of care homes
* Supporting the Home Manager and Customer Experience Leads to create purposeful activity
* Supporting the Home and Customer Experience Leads to ensure a day-to-day presence on social media including Facebook
* Driving scores high on Google reviews and Specialist Market tools
* Thinking outside the box – e.g charity days, supporting community drives or walking 26 miles!
* Being the face people trust to help get solutions to their needs
* Creating information events for older people and their families in the community
* Ensure the home is fully occupied
* Ensure the budgeted rate is achieved




Skills, Qualifications and Abilities

* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Experience within a similar environment desirable
* You need to be flexible, patient, with a ‘can do’ caring attitude, and a real 'people person'
* Proficiency in IT, including Microsoft Office and internal applications; with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
