Location: Castleford College
We have an excellent opportunity for a Workshop Technician to join our Engineering and Automotive team, where you will support Motor Vehicle courses.
As a Workshop Technician you will play a crucial role in supporting students and teaching staff with the delivery of the Engineering Curriculum. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include demonstrating and instructing learners involved in practical activities. Additionally, you will be responsible for ensuring Health & Safety standards are met and maintaining an organised and efficient workshop environment.
We are seeking a motivated individual who is enthusiastic about working with young people, adults, and employers. The ideal candidate will have up-to-date industry knowledge and expertise, a passion for the Engineering sector, and excellent teamwork skills.
As a Workshop Technician, you should have:
- Level 2 qualification in relevant vocational area
- GCSE A*- C / 9 - 4 in English and Maths or equivalent
- Experience in relevant industry/ education setting
