What skills and experience we're looking for
We seek to appoint a dedicated and outstanding teacher to join our Business Studies department.
This role is to teach the BTEC Extended Certificate in Applied Business (Pearson). The BTEC Business course is a popular course with over 200 students enrolled. Units covered include Marketing, Personal Business Finance and Recruitment and Selection Processes.
The College also offers A Level Business Studies and the flexibility to potentially support the teaching in this course, as the need arises, would be desirable. There are 5 Business Studies teachers in the team that specialise in either the A Level or the BTEC course, there is a strong collaborative and supportive approach amongst the team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for the teaching of Business at Post-16 and have the ability to inspire students. They will deliver highly effective lessons, utilising techniques and practices that are evidence based and engage all learners.
