We are seeking an inspirational and ambitious Director of English to lead, develop, and champion English across Hurworth School. This is a pivotal leadership role for an outstanding practitioner who is passionate about literacy, language, and literature, and who is committed to ensuring every student becomes a confident reader, writer, and communicator.

As part of the Senior Leadership Team, you will have strategic responsibility for curriculum design, teaching and learning, outcomes, and staff development within the department, working closely with other senior leaders to drive whole-school improvement.
