A respected and patient-focused GP practice located in Eastbourne is looking to recruit an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join its established and supportive clinical team.

This opportunity is ideally suited to a confident ANP who enjoys working autonomously while being part of a collaborative and welcoming practice environment. The surgery offers flexibility around working days and sessions, with both part-time and full-time applicants encouraged to apply.

About the Role

The successful candidate will provide high-quality care to a varied patient population, managing both acute presentations and ongoing health conditions within a modern primary care setting.

The role will involve:

• Assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients independently
  
• Managing same-day and routine appointments
  
• Prescribing medication where appropriate
  
• Providing care for patients with chronic diseases
  
• Delivering face-to-face and telephone consultations
  
• Referring patients to secondary care services when required
  
• Promoting patient wellbeing and preventative healthcare
  
• Working closely with the wider multidisciplinary team

  The practice is seeking an ANP who is clinically confident, approachable, and committed to delivering excellent patient care.

  Applicants should have:

  • Current NMC registration
    
  • Advanced Nurse Practitioner qualification or equivalent experience
    
  • Independent prescribing qualification
    
  • Previous primary care or GP surgery experience
    
  • Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
    
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
