Hours: 1 hours a day, 5 hours per week.

Start Date: 1st September 2026We wish to appoint a new midday supervisor. An ability to contribute to the warm, nurturing, inclusive ethos of the school is essential.
The suitable candidate will be helping to support our SRB children as they are served and eat their lunch – both packed lunches and school meals. Responsibilities will include helping and supervising children, setting up before meals, tidying away, clearing and cleaning, and maintaining a safe eating environment. There will also be some supervision of pupils either on the school yard or in their classrooms. There is a need to be kind, warm, caring, approachable, hard-working and able to take initiative – if you see something that needs doing to help the lunchtimes remain safe and happy, you’ll do it!
Training will be provided as required.

This salary is subject to the Living Wage supplement wef 1st April 2026 which brings pay rates up to £13.45 per hour (scp 2 - 5). This supplement will be reviewed thereafter annually in April. Cardiff Council reserves the right to make any changes to, or removal of, the Living Wage supplement.
