Summary
Nursery Manager – Join The Snug Family
At The Snug Childcare, we do things a little differently. We’re not just a nursery — we’re a home-from-home where children feel safe, curious, and completely themselves.
We’re now looking for a passionate, experienced Nursery Manager to lead our setting with heart, confidence, and a genuine love for early years.
If you’re someone who believes in creating magical childhood experiences and knows how to run a tight ship behind the scenes, this could be your next step.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll be the driving force behind the day-to-day life of the nursery — setting the tone, leading the team, and making sure every child (and parent) feels that Snug warmth.
Leading and inspiring your team to deliver exceptional care and education
Creating a calm, nurturing, and engaging environment where children thrive
Keeping everything running smoothly — from rotas to recruitment to performance support
Building strong, open relationships with parents and carers
Ensuring the nursery is safe, compliant, and always operating at the highest standards
Overseeing the behind-the-scenes essentials — admin, budgets, and reporting
Continuously looking for ways to grow, improve, and keep things fresh
What we’re looking for
We need someone who brings both structure and soul.
Proven experience managing within an early years setting
A natural leader who can motivate, guide, and support a team
Strong knowledge of child development and early years best practice
Hands-on experience working with children — you’re not afraid to get stuck in
Confident communicator who builds trust easily with staff and families
Organised, proactive, and solution-focused
Driving licence is a bonus, not a must
Why The Snug?
Because this isn’t just a job.
It’s a place where:
Children are truly seen and supported
Staff are valued, heard, and developed
No two days feel the same
You can genuinely make an impact
If you’re ready to lead with purpose, bring positive energy, and be part of something special — we’d love to hear from you.
