** Background – The Research and Enterprise Contracts Officer role is within the contracts team in the Research & Innovation services directorate. The Contracts team negotiates, drafts, and manages agreements that underpin research and innovation activity, ensuring that contracts are put in place with all partners to enable research and innovation and protect the researcher’s and University’s interests.

** Responsibilities – The Research and Enterprise Contracts Officer is responsible for the co-ordination, review and negotiation of research and innovation agreements. Working closely with and assisting the Research & Innovation Contracts Managers, the postholder will lead on the review and coordination of research and innovation contracts and support the Research & Innovation Contracts Managers with some complex/large scale contracts

** Person Specification –You will have experience of reviewing and negotiating contracts, Knowledge and understanding of contracting issues such as intellectual property, confidentiality ,publications, liabilities, and other related issues. You will have excellent communication & negotiating skills with highly organised approach to work.
