Summary
Be the first step in a child’s journey to the right care
We’re looking for an organised and efficient Referrals & Commissioning Coordinator to join our Referrals Team. You’ll be the first point of contact for Local Authorities, managing referrals and relationships with care, professionalism and compassion. This is a key role supporting children to access the right care, ensuring every interaction is thoughtful, responsive, and aligned with our values.
What You’ll Do
- Manage the referrals inbox, responding in a timely, professional way
- Screen referrals using trauma-informed principles, non-judgemental practice and keeping children’s needs at the centre
- Build strong, trusting relationships with Local Authority partners
- Coordinate placements, admissions, and offer documentation
- Maintain accurate systems and ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks
- Deliver high-quality customer service across all interactions
About You
- Experience in social care / children’s services / social work
- Strong administration and organisational skills
- Able to manage a busy workload with accuracy and attention to detail
- A confident communicator who builds positive relationships
- Committed to safeguarding, inclusion, and trauma-informed practice
