Summary

Location: Maldon Lodge, Colchester, CO3 3AX
Hours: Part – Time Days - 20 hours per week (Monday to Sunday, alternating weekends, rota basis)
Pay: £12.71 – £13.21 per hour (depending on qualifications)

About the Role

As a Support Worker, you’ll support adults with complex mental health conditions in a residential service with multidisciplinary team input and support. The service will provide intensive short-term support to individuals with complex needs and challenging behaviours including personal care.

You’ll:

Support individuals to manage their mental health and wellbeing
Encourage independence and help people achieve personal goals
Build positive, trusting relationships
Support daily routines, appointments, and community activities
Provide practical and emotional support in a person-centred way
Follow clear processes and individual care plans to ensure we provide safe and consistent support

Pay Structure

Entry Level – £12.71 per hour
NVQ Level 2 completed – £12.96 per hour
NVQ Level 3 completed – £13.21 per hour

Essential:

Ability to build trust and maintain professional boundaries
Willingness to learn and develop

Desirable:
NVQ Level 2 (or above) in Social Care or Mental Health
Experience in a mental health or support setting
Basic IT skills
