We enhance and extend asset life, ensuring compliance with water quality and environmental standards. We’re problem solvers with over 140 years of combined experience in engineering and infrastructure.
This role will be within our clean water team safeguards the quality, reliability, and performance of drinking water across our region. We work across complex network systems, enhancing, maintaining, installing, and repairing infrastructure from pipes to water meters, to ensure consistently high-water quality. Through proactive network management and resilient engineering, we help ensure communities have safe, dependable water supplies every day.

What will you be doing?
As our Data Administrator you'll be responsible for the accurate input, validation, and maintenance of data within a system designed to meet evolving business needs. The role plays a critical part in ensuring data quality, compliance, and consistency so that reliable commercial reports can be produced to support business decision-making.
The role involves accurate, high‑volume data entry in line with defined business processes and guidelines. You'll update, maintain, and amend records to ensure data remains current, complete, and reliable, while consistently maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
You'll validate data to identify errors, omissions, or inconsistencies, correcting discrepancies to protect data integrity. Regular data quality checks will be carried out, with recurring issues escalated where appropriate. All data handling must comply with internal standards, business rules, and data governance requirements, including strict adherence to data protection and confidentiality policies. Accurate, traceable records will support audit and compliance activities.
You'll ensure data is structured correctly to support accurate commercial and operational reporting, working closely with reporting, commercial, and system teams to clarify requirements. The role also involves collaborating with stakeholders to support system development. Provide feedback on usability and processes, and contributing to continuous improvement of data capture, standards, and documentation.
This is a 6 month fixed term contract.

- Good problem-solving skills with the ability to identify data issues
- Previous experience in a data entry, administrative, or data-focused role
- Experience working with databases or business systems
- Understanding of data quality and validation principles
- Proactive in identifying improvements to data accuracy or processes
