Job Title: Production Supervisor – Chilled Food manufacturing
Location: The Compleat Food Group, Twin Brook Business Park, Twin Brook Road, Clitheroe, BB7 1QX
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 06:00 -14:30 (40 hours per week)
Pay: £16.12 p/h or £33.529 per annum
Reporting To: Shift Production Manager

About the Role
As a Production Supervisor, you’ll take ownership of daily manufacturing operations—ensuring production runs efficiently, safely,
and to the highest standards. You’ll lead and develop your team, coordinate with key departments, and play a crucial role in
delivering against production targets and customer expectations.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Leading and motivating production teams to achieve performance, quality, and safety targets
* Ensuring full compliance with Health & Safety, Food Safety, and GMP standards
* Delivering production plans on time while adapting to changes and solving problems proactively
* Monitoring KPIs such as OEE, waste, labour efficiency, and non-conformance
* Driving a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence
* Coordinating with Planning, Warehouse, and Quality teams to minimise downtime
* Managing labour allocation and developing team capability through training and coaching
* Supporting NPD trials and process improvements
* Ensuring accurate documentation and full product traceability
* Leading effective shift handovers and team briefings
What We’re Looking For
* Proven background in food manufacturing (chilled environment desirable)
* Experience leading large operational teams
* Strong understanding of production processes and performance metrics
* Level 3 Food Safety & Hygiene (essential)
* HACCP Level 2/3 (desirable)
* Team Management qualification (desirable)
* Strong leadership, coaching, and communication abilities
* Excellent organisation and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities
* Solid knowledge of H&S, BRC standards, and GMP
* Confident with Microsoft Office and production reporting
