Summary
The Best Connection are seeking full time LGV CE / HGV Class 1 drivers for our client in Normanton, WF6, for store deliveries which will mainly be loading bay tips but some tail lift deliveries.
Drivers must have a Class 1 licence with an in date CPC and Digi card with no more than 6 licence points, with no major endorsements. Minimal experience is acceptable for this contract provided candidates can pass a driving assessment prior to shift. This will include manoeuvring and reversing so must be competent at this.
Various shift patterns to cover midweek shifts and some including weekends. Store routes generally start at 1500/1600/1700 but there may be a requirement to complete a trunk route beforehand so could be brought forward to 12noon start (advance notice will be given).
Pay rates (+ holiday pay accrual)
Nights (1800 - 0400) - £19.00 per hour
Overtime after 10 hours (guaranteed 8 hours per shift)
Saturdays - £21.08 per hour
Sundays - £27.32 per hour
Days (0400-1800) - £16.63 per hour
