Summary


Applications are invited for a Junior Clinical Fellow (F2-ST2 grade) to support commercial clinical trial delivery across the Cheshire and Merseyside region. The post holders will be based within the 26-bedded NIHR Clinical Research Facility in Royal Liverpool Hospitals site, but will work across the Trust on various different trails depending upon activity.

Experience or interest in commercial clinical studies would be desirable. The Clinical Research Facility is a 24/7 facility, equipped to deliver early phase clinical trials and support academic and translational studies. It is one of only 2 NHS CRF’s in England to hold MHRA Phase I Accreditation.

Liverpool Women’s Hospital specialises in the health of women and babies, delivering over 7,200 babies in the UK’s largest single site maternity hospital each year. The Royal Liverpool University Hospitalis the largest hospital in the country to provide inpatients with 100% single en-suite bedrooms and mainly focuses on complex planned care and specialist services.

The post holder will be based initially in the Clinical Research Facility (CRF) but will need to work across the whole Trust wherever the clinical trials activity is taking place.
