Community Larders Coordinator (Maternity Cover)
Love people? Brilliant at customer service? Want to make a real difference to the people of Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire and beyond?

Designed as a ‘hand up, not a handout,’ our Larders reduce food waste, save people money, and create opportunities for individuals and communities to thrive.
We need a hands-on, people-focused coordinator to support our Community Larder network during a period of maternity cover. You will be the face of SOFEA across our larder locations keeping our vital food and employability services running smoothly.
What You Will Do
Reporting to the Head of Community Larders, you will:
- Build Relationships: Working closely with volunteers, partners and larder members.
- Solve Problems: Tackling challenges as they arise within community settings.
- Ensure Quality: Oversee food safety and service standards (training provided).
- Drive Impact: Support vulnerable communities and empower people through our programmes.
What You Need
- Mobile: A full UK driving licence and daily access to your own vehicle.
- People First: A genuine love for helping people and strengthening communities. You’ll be proactive, approachable, organised and adaptable.
- Customer Service: A resourceful mindset that is passionate about delivering great service and confident in resolving issues (in person and by phone).
Not a perfect match on paper? We’d encourage you to apply anyway! We highly value transferable skills and diverse perspectives, whatever your previous experience.
The Package
- Pay: £13.90 - £15.42 per hour (based on experience)
