We are recruiting for a Supply Chain Business Resilience Manager within the supply chain team here at Tesco.

In this role, you will strengthen the resilience of the Tesco supply chain, setting the standard for business resilience with a clear focus on planning for technology disruption. You will shape how we prepare for, respond to and recover from disruption, helping to design, test and embed solutions that enable us to serve our customers every day.

You will be responsible for

  • Lead the supply chain’s approach to resilience.

  • Develop and maintain the supply chain technology resilience strategy, setting clear standards and strengthening Business Continuity and Incident Management planning across suppliers, distribution and central teams.

  • Evolve Tesco’s Offline Trading and Critical Outcomes programmes, ensuring ordering, forecasting, stock visibility and picking can continue if critical systems fail.

  • Partner closely with Technology teams to safeguard critical outcomes across the end to end supply chain.

  • Lead cross functional resilience projects, validating alternative ways of working, from manual ordering to offline stock management, through realistic operational testing.

  • Champion a test and learn culture by designing and delivering outage simulations that reveal vulnerabilities, build confidence and drive continuous improvement.

  • Maintain and enhance the Business Resilience Management System, ensuring planning content is accurate, practical and easy for operational teams to use during real incidents.

  • Work closely with the Business Resilience team to align frameworks, governance and incident response.

You will need

  • Experience across supply chain operations, analysis or business resilience.

  • A proven track record of leading cross functional initiatives and influencing a wide range of stakeholders.

  • Strong analytical skills, with advanced Excel capability and SQL knowledge desirable.

  • A practical, problem solving mindset, with confidence turning complex risks into simple, workable solutions.

  • The ability to stay calm under pressure and bring clarity in uncertain or fast moving situations.
