We're currently searching for a driven ophthalmologist to join us as an Ophthalmology fellow. This role holds significant importance within our department, and we're looking for someone innovative and dedicated to fill it.
The fellowship spans 12 months and offers thorough training in both medical and surgical aspects of managing complex Retina conditions.
Situated in the bustling Eye Treatment Centre (ETC) at Whipps Cross Hospital, this role is ideal for candidates nearing completion or those who have finished the Higher Specialist Training programme (or its equivalent) in Ophthalmology. The schedule runs from Monday to Friday.
The Fellow will be exposed to all forms of complex medical and surgical retina care and will gain significant practical training in the management of related conditions including retinal laser, intravitreal injections and vitreoretinal surgery.
Candidates should be in possession of Part 2 FRCOphth or equivalent. Suitably qualified candidates from overseas with appropriate GMC registration will be considered.
