This is an extremely exciting time to be joining Leeds City Academy, one of the most rapidly improving schools within the Leeds area and county of West Yorkshire. We are an 11-16 academy and one of four schools within White Rose Academies Trust, a trust recognised nationally for its ground-breaking and transformational impact on the lives of the young people it serves. The academy had a Section 5 Inspection in May 2019 achieving an overall Good judgement with Leadership and Management judged as Outstanding.

Role:
Leeds City Academy is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Teacher of Science to join our developing and ambitious team. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate practitioner who believes that every young person can succeed, regardless of background or starting point.
You will be part of a supportive Science department, working collaboratively to deliver a high-quality curriculum that inspires curiosity, promotes high aspirations, and secures strong outcomes for all students.

Is an excellent classroom practitioner with strong subject knowledge in Science
Has high expectations of pupil behaviour, engagement and achievement
