I’m seeking a friendly, reliable and well‑organised Personal Assistant to support me with daily life and routines.
I’m autistic and have ADHD, mixed anxiety‑depressive disorder and complex PTSD. Executive function can be… patchy. I live with my husband and our 9‑year‑old daughter in a warm, loving home that runs on kindness, humour and a slightly optimistic approach to routine and structure. We also have pets (2 cats, a dog and some fish), who feel very strongly that they are in charge, particularly ‘The Chief’ - our cat.
Support includes:
- Gentle prompting around self‑care and basic needs;
- Help building and maintaining simple routines;
- Light housekeeping and home management;
- Calendar support, food shopping, menu planning and some cooking;
- Accompaniment to errands and a “dream-goal” to attend a weekly swimming session (Tuesdays at 12:30pm).
- Some days I’ll be chatty and creative (I enjoy crafts, sewing, crochet and my Cricut). Other days I’ll need quiet, steady presence and someone who can calmly “hold the shape of the day” when my energy dips - and join me for a cup of tea, and a bit of telly.
This role is about support, not pressure - stepping in kindly on harder days, helping me stay organised, and giving my husband (who works full time) some respite while stabilising my own independence.
Key details:
- Main days: Tuesdays & Thursdays, some help on Friday afternoon. Although this is somewhat flexible and can be discussed to find the right approach;
- I work part‑time, so some flexibility is needed. At times I’ll be working from home during our hours together, giving you space to gently “scan the chaos”, help assess priorities, and support bringing some order to the day;
- Must be calm, patient, organised and pet‑friendly;
- Experience helpful, but attitude is everything.
If you’re the sort of person who can prompt gently, laugh kindly, and keep things ticking along without fuss, you’ll fit right in.

Duties include:

- Looking after pets
Candidate qualities:
Essential:

- Excellent communicator
Desirable:
- Experience with neurodivergent adults
- Care background
Working Style & Values:
- Warm, friendly, steady, encouraging independence, trauma‑informed.
