Are you a dedicated SEN Teacher looking for a role where you can make a real and lasting difference every day? Do you have the empathy, creativity, and commitment to support children with complex needs to thrive?
We are seeking a passionate and experienced SEN Teacher to join a welcoming and well-resourced special school in West Yorkshire.
What's the role?
You will:
• Plan and deliver tailored, creative lessons that meet the individual needs of each pupil
• Work with children and young people with a range of special educational needs, including SEMH, ASD, PMLD, and/or complex learning difficulties
• Collaborate with a skilled team of teaching assistants, therapists, and specialists
• Contribute to the development and review of Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs)
• Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils, families, and carers
What are we looking for?
We are looking for someone who:
• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Has experience working with children or young people with SEN (specialist setting experience desirable)
• Is patient, adaptable, and genuinely passionate about inclusive education
• Can work confidently as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Holds or is working towards a relevant SEN qualification (desirable but not essential)
