Summary
At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for Forklift Driver / TLT Operator to work with Unipart JCB, a leading company known for its expertise in logistics and supply chain management. Unipart JCB provides comprehensive services, including warehousing, distribution, and transportation solutions.
Shift Patterns:
- Monday - Thursday - 13:30-22:00,
- Friday - 10:30 - 18:00
Pay Rates:
- Standard: £15.93 per hour
- Overtime: £21.24 per hour (paid after 39 standard hours)
Key Responsibilities
- Operate FLT and Telehandler equipment safely within a busy Unipart, JCB site
- Off-load trailers, HGV deliveries, and inbound goods
- Move pallets, components, and materials to designated storage or production areas
- Handling oversized components
- Complete safety checks, records, and paperwork as required
- Work closely with warehouse teams, line feeders, and site supervisors
- Work as part of a busy yard operation with frequent HGV, vehicle and pedestrian movement
- Ensure compliance with all Unipart, JCB safety and housekeeping standards
Requirements
- Valid FLT Counterbalance and/or Telescopic Handler licence (RTITB / ITSSAR desirable)
- Experience working in a high volume industrial or manufacturing setting
- Ability to work to deadlines and follow site procedures
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- This role involves both indoor and outdoor work in varying weather conditions
