Summary
Manpower are currently recruiting for a Temp-to-perm Dispatch Shift Supervisor / Team Leader based in Grimsby. This is a hands-on role working across dispatch supervision, forklift operations, administration, and physical warehouse work. You will be responsible for ensuring orders are prepared, loaded, and dispatched accurately, alongside Machine Operations.
Location
- Grimsby
Shift Pattern
- Weekly rotation (Monday-Friday)
- 6:00am - 2:00pm (Week 1)
- 2:00pm - 10:00pm (Week 2)
Pay Rate
- £13.80 per hour
Key Responsibilities
- Strapping, securing and preparing pallets for dispatch
- Allocating and booking workloads
- Working across general Machine Operations using a Digital Printer (training provided)
- Loading and unloading vehicles
- Recording dispatch data accurately (dates, quantities, destinations)
- Completing dispatch paperwork and system administration
- Supervising and supporting the dispatch team during the shift
- Assisting with production work during quieter periods
What We're Looking For
Experience
- Previous experience in a dispatch, warehouse, or team leader/supervisory role
Licences
- Valid FLT Counterbalance (B1) licence - preferred
Skills & Attributes
- Comfortable with physical work, including manual handling
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Confident with basic admin and record-keeping
- Reliable, flexible, and able to work rotating shifts
