37.5 hours per week - Monday to Friday 7.00 to 15.00

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced General Assistant with a background in exceptional food catering services to join our business and work at one of our staff restaurant settings

This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled General Assistant.



Job Description

As a General Assistant you will…

  • Assist in the preparation and serving of breakfast and lunch, according to established menus and recipes.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the front of house areas including organising dishes and utensils.
  • Collaborative working as a team supporting each other during meal preparation, weekly stocktaking and pot-washing.
  • Following proper food handling and storage procedures to ensure food safety and prevent contamination.
  • Monitor inventory levels of food and supplies and notify management of any shortages or discrepancies.
  • Provide friendly and efficient service to staff during mealtimes
  • Handle money, operating a till, cashing up at the end of the shift
  • Participate in training sessions and meeting related to food service procedures, safety protocols, and customer service standards.
  • Additionally supporting the team with any other business requirements and tasks.


Qualifications

  • Ideally have experience working in a small Kitchen.
  • Have good Health & Safety knowledge.
  • Flexible with a can-do attitude, customer focused.
  • Fun and enthusiastic
  • Have excellent organization skills.
  • Demonstrate great attention to detail.
  • Be a team player and enjoy succeeding as a team.
  • Possess great customer service skills.
  • Have a flexible approach to work
