Summary

Job Title: Senior Support Worker
Location: Lancashire & Greater Manchester

Hours: Part-time / Full-time

Salary: from £30,000 to £40,000 per annum

Contract Type: Permanent

We're on the hunt for dynamic Support Workers/Personal Assistants to swoop in and save the day across community-based spots like Wigan, Chorley, Bury, Burnley, and more! Whether it's filling in for a sick day, covering someone's beach escape, or patching up other temporary gaps, you'll be the hero ensuring smooth and reliable care for those who need it most.

About the Role:

As our trusty Senior Support Worker, you'll be the chameleon of care, adapting to different environments and supporting individuals with diverse needs, from complex health issues to mental health conditions, autism spectrum disorder, and spirited behaviours that keep us on our toes.

We get it—bouncing between multiple locations on a moment's notice isn’t for everyone, but for the right adventurer, stepping up with a flexible attitude and joining our team offers a rewarding career where no two days are ever the same. Plus, there's a fantastic rate of pay as recognition for your ‘can do’ approach!

What will you be doing?

· Delivering high-quality, compassionate care and support tailored to each individual

· Assisting with daily living tasks, personal care, and promoting independence

· Encouraging social inclusion, building relationships, and improving quality of life

· Providing cover during sickness, annual leave, and other periods of absence

· Driving our members in their own vehicles so they can access a range of meaningful activities.

About You:

· A compassionate, patient, and flexible approach to care

· Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team

· A commitment to ensuring the best outcomes for those you support

· Confidence and a ‘bring it on’ attitude, ready to dive into hydrotherapy one day and conquer roller coasters at Alton Towers the next (and anything in between).

· Previous experience in supporting individuals with complex care needs, mental health, autism, and behaviours that challenge

· A valid driving licence and access to your own vehicle (as travel between various locations is essential)
