Summary
Operative, £12.71 per hour, Temp to Perm, Rutherglen (with occasional work at Cathcart office)

Responsibilities:
1. Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm (1-hour lunch break)
2. Transport clients and the deceased with care, dignity, and professionalism
3. Support the Funeral Director on the day of the funeral, ensuring all arrangements are carried out according to the family’s wishes
4. Assist with the preparation and presentation of the deceased for viewings
5. Maintain funeral home premises and company vehicles to a high standard
6. Carry out all duties with sensitivity, respect, and professionalism
7. Follow instructions from the Funeral Director accurately and efficiently
8. Arrange funerals at both funeral homes and private residences
9. Prepare and deliver time-sensitive funeral documentation
10. Provide cover for holidays and sickness across multiple locations
11. Participate in a 24/7 on-call rota
Requirements:
1. Full, clean UK driving licence
2. Strong computer skills
3. Good level of physical fitness (role involves regular heavy lifting)
4. Flexibility to take part in an on-call rota (1 in 2)
5. Professional, compassionate, and respectful approach
