Summary
We are looking for two compassionate and committed Support Workers to join our team at 451 Newmarket Road.
451 Newmarket Road supports 9 residents with high support needs who have experienced homelessness and who present with a range of complex and enduring needs.
The successful candidates will provide trauma-informed, person-centred support, helping to create a safe, secure, and welcoming environment while supporting residents with their assessment, support, and resettlement needs. You will build trusting relationships, work alongside partner agencies, and help people move towards greater stability and independent living.
You will need good communication and IT skills, a willingness to be hands-on, and an understanding of the challenges faced by people who have experienced homelessness. Experience of working with vulnerable adults is desirable, but training will be provided for candidates with the right values, skills, and commitment.
The role includes daytime shifts, including weekends, on a 4-week rota, with opportunities for overtime.
