Summary
Receptionist / Clinic Assistant – Part Time (Derby)
We are looking for a friendly, organised and proactive Receptionist / Clinic Assistant to join a busy clinic in Derby. You will be the first point of contact for patients, providing a welcoming and professional service while supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the clinic.
Key responsibilities:
Managing appointments and maintaining the clinic diary
Answering calls and responding to enquiries
Booking and confirming appointments
Following up new patient enquiries and converting them into bookings
Greeting patients and handling payments
Supporting general reception and administrative tasks
Hours:
Tuesday: 9:30am–1:30pm
Wednesday: 9:15am–1:30pm
Thursday: 9:30am–1:30pm
Friday: 9:15am–1:30pm
(Monday off, with occasional overtime available)
About you:
Friendly, professional and well organised
Confident communicating in person and over the phone
Proactive, reliable and a strong team player
Good standard of spoken and written English
Experience:
Previous reception or customer service experience is helpful but not essential, as full training is provided.
