Experienced Carer & Enabler – 1:1 Support

Honiton & Surrounding Areas

Term‑time hours | Additional holiday hours available | Paid full shifts | 45p per mile

A truly rewarding 1:1 role where you make the difference

At Beehive Care & Training Group Ltd, we know that exceptional care happens when carers feel valued, supported and trusted. This is a specialist one‑to‑one role for an experienced, compassionate carer who wants to build a meaningful partnership and support someone to live a full, active life.

If you enjoy working closely with one individual, taking the time to really make a difference — this role could be perfect for you.

The role – One‑to‑One Carer & Enabler

You’ll be supporting an individual in their own home in Honiton, helping them to live independently, stay active, and enjoy everyday life.

This is a term‑time role, with the opportunity to pick up additional paid hours during school holidays if you wish.

Your fixed weekly term‑time hours are:

Monday–Friday: 7:15am – 8:15am (personal care)
Tuesday & Thursday: 9:00am – 3:00pm (enabling & community support)
This is an active, varied role suited to someone who enjoys getting out and about and supporting meaningful routines. Activities may include:

Walks into town
Swimming
Household tasks and daily living support
Community outings and structured activities
The individual you’ll be supporting has a stoma in situ, so previous experience with stoma care is strongly preferred.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll provide warm, person‑centred support, including:

Respectful personal care (including stoma support)
Support with meals, medication and daily living tasks
Enabling support: activities, companionship and routines
Accurate electronic care notes using our Beehive Care app
You’ll be trusted to work independently — but you’ll never be unsupported.

Why join Beehive Care & Training Group?

We’re not just a care provider — we’re also a training provider, which means we invest properly in our staff.

You’ll benefit from:

Stable weekday term‑time hours
Optional additional hours during school holidays
Paid training & nationally recognised care qualifications
45p per mile mileage allowance
Paid for your full shift (no rushed calls)
Permanent or flexible casual contract options
Clear career progression opportunities
28 days’ holiday (pro rata)
Employee Assistance Programme & staff discounts
Free uniform & PPE
A welcoming, family‑feel team that genuinely cares
You’ll also have access to our open‑door office in Dunkeswell — pop in anytime for support, PPE, training help or just a cuppa.

Even though this is a one‑to‑one role, you will never feel alone — our management team is always available when you need us.

What you’ll need

A full UK driving licence and access to a reliable car
Experience in care, ideally including stoma care
A kind, positive and proactive approach
The right to work in the UK
Ready to make a meaningful difference every day?
