Summary

Job Title: Senior Staff Nurse – Renal Dialysis
Location: Thamesmead
Salary: £36,846 – £44,515 per annum + £4,500 location allowance
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week - Closed Sunday

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Staff Nurse to join a well-established renal dialysis clinic in Thamesmead. This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading healthcare provider delivering high-quality, patient-centred care in partnership with the NHS.

This role is ideal for a nurse with strong renal experience who is looking to progress into a senior position with leadership responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

- Act as Nurse in Charge and deputise for the Clinic Manager when required
- Deliver high standards of patient-centred renal care
- Support and mentor junior nurses and healthcare staff
- Undertake patient assessments and manage care programmes
- Prepare and monitor dialysis equipment and treatment systems
- Review pre and post haemodialysis care with patients
- Contribute to continuous improvement and clinical governance initiatives

Requirements

- Registered General Nurse (RGN) with valid NMC registration
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a renal dialysis setting
- Knowledge of the NMC Code of Professional Conduct
- Renal qualification (ENB 136 or equivalent) or working towards
- Mentorship/Teaching qualification (desirable)
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team

Salary & Benefits

- £36,846 – £44,515 per annum (depending on experience)
