Summary

What skills and experience we're looking for

Assistant Headteacher - Personal Development/Inclusion and Safeguarding including overall DSL responsibility

We are looking for an experienced teacher to join our Leadership Team and spearhead our student support and safeguarding strategy. This person will lead the strategic oversight of personal development/inclusion and safeguarding including overall DSL responsibility across the school.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Assist the Headteacher as required
• General duties of SLT
• Support all other aspect of leadership where required by the Headteacher
• DSL and Safeguarding
• School Self Evaluation (shared)

Further details about the role

The school serves Midsomer Norton, Radstock and the surrounding rural area where there is an abundance of attractive and affordable housing. The school is on the edge of the Mendips but close to Bath, Bristol, Frome and Wells.
