This role is ideal for someone with the vision, drive and expertise to influence teaching and learning and make a sustained impact on pupil outcomes.
1. Qualifications
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
2. Knowledge and Understanding
• Experience of teaching within Key Stage 2
• Evidence of strong teaching practice leading to positive pupil outcomes
• Secure understanding of effective teaching and learning in primary education
• Strong knowledge of assessment and pupil progress
• Clear understanding of safeguarding responsibilities in schools
• Experience of supporting or contributing to staff CPD
• Experience of implementing teaching and learning strategies to support inclusion for all pupils
• Secure knowledge of curriculum requirements and statutory guidance for Key Stage 2
• Experience of leading or contributing to a subject area
3. Skills and Abilities
• Excellent classroom practitioner, demonstrating a positive and resilient approach
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Highly effective interpersonal skills
• Ability to articulate a clear vision and inspire others
• Ability to build and sustain effective working relationships with staff and stakeholders
