Summary

What skills and experience we're looking for

North Bradley CE Primary School is seeking to appoint apassionate and enthusiastic Parent Support Advisor. As a member of staff within our Trust, you will contribute to a collaborative working environment and play a key role in supporting the learning and development of all pupils.

The Parent Support Advisor plays a key role in improving pupil attendance by acting as a vital link between school and families, identifying barriers and promoting regular engagement with education, while monitoring and analysing attendance data to address concerns and maintain accurate records. They build strong, trusting relationships with parents and carers, offering guidance, practical support and, where appropriate, conducting home visits to encourage positive routines and engagement. Working collaboratively with school staff and external agencies, they contribute to multi-agency plans, early support assessments and coordinated interventions for pupils. The role also involves supporting children’s wellbeing by developing resilience, self-esteem and positive social outcomes, while addressing barriers to learning and attendance. In addition, they contribute to whole-school strategies, including attendance improvement initiatives, parental workshops and the development of inclusive pastoral policies. The Advisor maintains high standards of safeguarding, confidentiality and professional conduct, working closely with families and agencies to ensure the safety and success of every child.
