Our central Shared Services team plays a vital role in supporting the success of every school within the Greenshaw Learning Trust. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Finance Manager to join our Trust-wide team and contribute to our mission of delivering excellent, inclusive education.
About the Role
As a Finance Manager, you will provide expert oversightof the day-to-day operational delivery of our finance function. This is a key role in ensuring our schools can focus on teaching and learning, supported by strong and effective financial management.
We are recruiting at two levels:
• Level 1– Focused on core operational delivery
• Level 2– Requiring advanced technical accounting expertise and risk management proficiency
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and manage a large finance team, including Senior Finance Officers, Finance Officers, and Finance Assistants
• Produce accurate and timely monthly management accounts for schools and shared service departments
• Ensure robust financial controls across procurement, banking, and accounting processes
• Prepare and submit statutory returns, including VAT and DfE submissions
• Support team development through mentoring, coaching, and structured progression pathways
About You
