The organisation is currently experiencing a period of significant activity and change, creating the need for experienced, credible HR support to manage risk, advise leaders and maintain operational continuity.
Your new role
An opportunity has arisen for an Interim HR Business Partner (People Partner) to support a senior leadership team on an initial 6-12 month basis, with the potential for the role to become permanent subject to performance and business need.
This is a high‑volume, fast‑paced role requiring a hands‑on HR professional who is comfortable operating in a complex environment. You will work closely with senior stakeholders, providing practical and commercially focused HR advice while managing a demanding caseload of employee relations matters.
The role is primarily based in South Wales, with flexibility for candidates based further afield, as the teams supported operate across multiple locations.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
- Proven experience as an HR Business Partner / People Partner within a complex, fast‑moving organisation
- Strong, current knowledge of UK employment law, with the ability to apply it pragmatically in a busy operational setting
- Extensive experience handling complex employee relations casework, including disciplinary, grievance, capability, performance management and sickness absence
- The resilience and confidence to work effectively under sustained pressure and manage competing priorities
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and challenge senior leaders constructively
- A practical, delivery‑focused mindset with sound professional judgement
Experience of working in a large, operational or customer‑facing environment and prior interim experience would be advantageous.What you'll get in return
