A local family is seeking a friendly and compassionate visiting carer to support their 61-year-old relative, Peter. This is a part-time role offering approximately 8-10 hours per week, split between Sundays (3 hours) and Fridays (5-6 hours). The successful candidate will provide personal care support and companionship, enabling the family to have regular respite time whilst ensuring Peter receives attentive and warm care in his own home.

Key responsibilities

The carer will visit the client's home and have the following responsibilities:
• Support with hygiene and toileting needs
• Provide companionship and be a friendly, engaging presence


About the client

AGE: 61
MEDICAL CONDITIONS: Mild cognitive impairment, epilepsy, and cerebral palsy
ADDITIONAL HEALTH NEEDS INFORMATION:
Peter is mobile with a walker but requires a responsible adult to be present with him during these visits to provide support and supervision.
OTHER INFORMATION:
Peter is a Christian and enjoys gardening and card making.

SPOKEN LANGUAGE: English (required)
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Care Certificate


Working pattern
