Summary
Production Welder – Immediate Start
We are seeking two experienced Production Welders to join our team immediately. Please note that our Stores and Assembly positions have now been filled.
Position Details:
• Role: Production Welder
• Hours: Rotating Shifts
Shift Pattern:
• Week 1: Monday – Thursday 6:00am – 2:00pm & Friday 6:00am – 1:00pm
• Week 2: Monday – Thursday 2:00pm – 10:00pm & Friday 1:00pm – 8:00pm
Key Responsibilities:
• Read and interpret fabrication drawings accurately
• Weld mild steel, DF and pre-galvanised materials of various thicknesses
• Set up and operate welding machines safely and efficiently
• Identify potential issues with profiles before and during production
• Grind and polish finished products to a high standard
• Maintain meticulous attention to detail and accuracy throughout all tasks
Candidate Requirements:
• Proven welding experience within a production environment
• Ability to read and work from technical drawings
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
• Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team
• Must successfully pass a weld test as part of the recruitment process
• Physically able to handle steel components
